Congratulations to the Broncos (Senior Division) and Cowboys (Junior Division) for winning titles yesterday in CYTF's Championship Day at Cape Central High School.
The Junior Cowboys forced eight fumbles from the Giants and won 26-12 in a rematch and reversal from 2011. The Cowboys finished up 5-1 on the year. The Broncos won the third game of the year against the Titans in a great finale, winning 14-8 in overtime. Bronco QB Kinyon Hodges ran for 20 yards on a 4th down in the first overtime after the Bronco defense held the Titans on their first OT possession. It was the Broncos second consecutive Senior League Championship.
The Senior Division Falcons won their second game of the season by defeating the Packers on two defensive touchdowns as they finished 2-4 and won 12-0 against the Packers in the Senior Division Consolation Game Saturday morning.
The Bears finished a strong 4-2 but finished in third place in the Junior Division and defeated the Cardinals (0-6) 26-6. The Cardinals score was their first of the year.
