We are sorry to announce this, but the 2012 Glowball Golf fundraiser for CYTF has been cancelled due to low entry numbers. As of July 4, only Five paid teams had entered. Thus, the CYTF Board in a conference call on Wednesday cancelled the event.
To make the event even somewhat profitable, we needed 16 + teams. We had to let the course know 10 days out or pay a fee to reserve the course. We hated to do it, but really had no choice", stated Troy Vaughn with CYTF.
While several calls had been made inquiring about the event, the deadline for entries had long passed and the Board felt they couldn't risk a low turnout and loss of money. Thus, the decision was made.
Refunds will be given to all teams and all teams will be contacted. We are looking into some options for the fall and hope to announce something in the coming weeks regarding the future of the event.
